Inverted epifluorescence microscope with a four-position filter turret, cooled monochrome camera and image analysis software. Used for immunofluorescence, live-cell imaging, apoptosis and viability assays, and localisation studies of fluorescently labelled structures.

Supported research areas

Safety requirements

Training on the acquisition software is required before the first independent session. Immersion oil must be cleaned from objectives with lens tissue only. Do not look into the eyepieces while the fluorescence shutter is open without the correct filter in place.
