A booking covers one facility for an inclusive range of whole days. Facility-specific requirements and policies are always shown before you confirm.

How it works
Four steps from search to session.
- 01
Choose and check
Review the facility description, technical specifications, applications, capacity, location, operating hours, available dates and external daily rate. The calendar marks booked, held, maintenance and available dates.

Provide research details
Describe the purpose, research work, number of people, and any samples, consumables or equipment required. A facility may ask for documents such as identification, an institutional letter or an MSDS.

Follow your access path
Internal users normally book without payment, subject to policy. External users pay online before confirmation. Some facilities also require coordinator approval.

Prepare for the visit
Read the safety instructions, usage instructions and facility terms shown during booking. Check your booking status and coordinator notes before travelling to the facility.

- Coordinator approval where the facility requires it
Pay per day, online
- Create an account and choose your dates
- Pay online — your dates are held for 15 minutes
- A failed payment can be retried while the hold is active
Before your visit
Your day-of checklist.
Run through this before you travel so your session starts on time.
- Booking reference noted and status confirmed
- Coordinator notes and approval (if required) reviewed
- Required documents ready — ID, institutional letter or MSDS
- Samples and consumables labelled as the facility requires
- Safety and usage instructions read in full
- Arrival planned within the facility's operating hours
