About this facility
Horizontal split tube furnace with a quartz work tube and gas flow control, used for annealing, calcination, CVD-adjacent processes and the synthesis of carbon and ceramic materials under controlled atmosphere. Nitrogen, argon and forming gas are available.

Safety requirements
Hazardous facility. Forming gas runs require the coordinator to be present. Heat-resistant gloves and a face shield are mandatory when unloading. The furnace must return to below 200 °C before the tube is opened.
